Questions about visual art (ch. 7)
- Do artists think differently from scientists, inventors, composers, and entrepreneurs?
- What are visual mental representations? How are they related to other kinds of representations, e.g. verbal and kinesthetic?
- Are the phases of visual art production different from the phases of scientists and inventors? Conception, idea development, making, finishing.
- Are the motivations of artists different from those of scientists, inventors, and entrepreneurs?
- Neuroaesthetics: What can brain science tell us about artistic creativity?
- How does culture contribute to visual art?
- To what extent is artistic creativity a social process?
